  1. This really needs the third option of paying in advance to be comprehensive? Chris
  2. I am there all day on Saturday and will report back.......I suspect its one not to miss... Chris
  3. 56094 forms part of 0F75 08:40 Rectory Jn to Westbury today at Keynsham
  4. Couple of mine from today and yesterday.. 37219 0F75 08:40 Rectory Jn to Westbury this morning plus 56094 and yesteday at Lawrence Hill - 37 884 0C83 1221 Newport Docks (Simsgroup) to Taunton ( I don't know why...)
  5. Don't hold your breath Ian - 😉 - I plan to make sure all the stock, track, couplers etc work well before much else is done and fixed down . I may carry on with some buildings etc and I'm making and fitting S&W couplers to stock. I made the mistake on Timsbury Bottom of not really testing everything - including the S&W couplers before I did scenery etc. TB will re-emerge but rebuilt longer with points of at least medium length...( an RUB and a half) Chris
  6. As a former O gauge layout owner (Bakewell Street last year) I know that show organisers do struggle to find suitable O gauge layouts... Chris H
  7. Listen, don't mention model railways. I mentioned them once, but I think I got away with it all right...
  8. How's your Bank Hoiday going Andy.....? :(
  9. I too would be interested...
  10. Indeed - I had a couple of things to pick up from traders at Bristol. Squires were great - I rang up and ordered and then picked up and paid at the show.
  11. I agree- I used to take a long shopping list to shows but the world has changed...we move on and use Paypal...
  12. I don't think they do anymore - I checked their website a while ago....
  13. Indeed - I'm not involved but know enough to say that the organisers have had to deal with a lot of set backs (personal and otherwise) this year and should be commended on putting on a cracking show - and I speak as someone who used to pop in on a Friday on the way back from work (about 5 years ago) and then leave after an hour.... Chris H
  14. They did have lots of paints and I'd also pre-ordered Humbrol sprays from them for collection at the show...they also sell Railmatch if required. Chris H
  15. This is fascinating - and also includes some great 1930's shots of the Overhead Railway in Liverpool...plus the docks and liners - my father was a Master with Canadian Pacific in the 1960s so a tenuous family link as well
  16. Gilbert

    Shwt

Exactly - my older eyes really appreciate well lit layouts.
  17. Not via Railcam but my photos....click on the Coal Tank...
  18. My Photos from Friday are here- click on the wagons... They are of variable quality - my apologies - my normally very good phone camera did not seem to like the light in the hall....
