  1. Yes I need to revisit my BWT with sound and add a stay alive. What sound chip and stay alive did you use ? Where did you place the stay alive ? Terry
  2. I assume like the previous Kernow/DJ Beattie Well Tank you will have to hard wire the sound chip ? I bought all three numbers of the KernowDJBWT having hard wired one with sound a the second one without sound but with a stay alive. Not sure what I will do with the third one fit sound /or std chip and stay alive or even sell it. Well at least the two DCC fitted BWTs will be running on Camel Quay at Warley in November. decisions decisions Terry
  3. I have both a Sprog 2 and Sprog no longer used complete with transformer for Sale if your interested.
  4. Seems like I missed out on another excellent exhibition at Warrington over the weekend having just watched a YouTube video. Terry Stafford Railway Circle
  5. Just watched. YouTube video of some of the layouts at Taunton Exhibition and read the above comments. Some stunning layouts, just wish Taunton wasn’t such a long way from Stafford and that I had a bottomless pit of money to fund traveling down for the weekend to visit the exhibition. Well done to all the Taunton team, and of course to the layout owners and operators. Terry Stafford Railway Circle

    Oo couplings

Interesting as it is the colour variations, why have you posted it under 00 couplings.
  7. Would have liked to gone to Uckfield but a bit of a long way from Stafford Ive had enough travel problems today with rail cancellations and flooded roads. Hope it all goes well and look forward to a few photographs. Terry
  8. A most enjoyable look at model railways and an insight into the reason why Jules Holland built the layout being able to look back to how London was in his childhood and his parents and grandparents. Thought the model of Euston Arch was stunning. It can only be good for hobby and hopefully get some much needed 50 and 60 year olds interested. Next week’s episode will be interesting. Terry
  9. Having had to cancel last year Warley booking of Camel Quay I am pleased that fingers crossed I will be there this year. A few photographs taken by Andy York
  10. I have a new unused one (as I originally bought 3) which has a minor issue in that the whistle was missing. Kernow sent me a brand new unpainted whistle which is with the model. If anyone is interested in purchasing it pleases PM me The other two I purchased will be running on my layout Camel Quay at Warley in November, both DCC fitted one having sound. Terry
  11. Just to correct you, I did not say GETS would be moving to Stafford. I now understand GETS will be going ahead in 2024 Apologies
  12. Well next year you will all be able to come to Stafford on the weekend of 28th & 29th September as I understand GETS will not be happening at Milton Keynes next year. I now understand that GETS will be going ahead in 2024 as well as a new all model show in April at the NEC Apologies as I was given duff information. As we have been able to move the Stafford Exhibition to the last full weekend in September means it will not clash with Scaleforum Bingley Hall Stafford is much larger venue than Milton Keynes and all on one level and more space to move around so not as crowded. Not as big as Warley, with good road and rail connections being just of the M6 and on the West Coast Mainline ( courtesy bus service on both days from the railway station. FREE PARKING FOR OVER 250O plus extra if we need it Have a look here on RMEB what visitors said about this year’s Exhibition This exhibition is completely run by Stafford Railway Circle friends and support from local clubs. Like Warley any excess funds run the club and fund the following year’s exhibition. Terry
  13. I was told many years ago by Paul Jones who was then the Warley exhibition manager never make a joke with Pete Waterman using those infamous words Lucky, Lucky, Lucky. Some years Pete Waterman went on to be a regular at Stafford Exhibition, chatting about model railways, and even presenting the prizes etc. Terry
  14. Unfortunately I was unable to attend GETS this year having not been feeling great all week. Disappointed as last year the Stafford Railway Circle team won best in show for Whiteacres from the members of the public. FIRST NEWS OF THE STAFFORD 2024 EXHIBITION Could I possibly suggest that you have a look here on RMWEB under exhibitions the comments about the this years STAFFORD EXHIBITION held over the weekend of 23rd & 24th September. Could be your go too model railway exhibition to start the new modelling season. A few points 1 A larger venue than Milton Keynes and all user friendly as all on one level. 2. Stafford very central to all of the UK 6 miles from either J13 or J14 of the M6 and access from A51 & A50 3. West Coast Mainline Station with courtesy buses on both days 4. Free car parking for excess of 2500 cars 5. Over 50 layouts in all scales 6. Over 60 Top Traders - Have a look at the list of Traders attended this year 7. Now in Bingley Hall with full catering and in 2023 we even had a pub PUT THE DATE IN YOUR DIARY NOW FOR 2024 - 28th & 29th September.
  15. In theory But what happens when we have international breaks, bad weather, Covid, and this season Luton could not play any home matches. and of course cup matches
  16. Evercreech Junction a wonderful layout that was about in the 1970s / 1980s had a slip coach feature Terry
  17. Suggest a email to Mudmagnet who is a rmwebber
  18. We do have periscopes available at the admission area for anyone to use for a small deposit, which is returned on the safe return of the periscope. I will make sure next year we advertise them in the admission area.
  19. 20. We were only offered the Pub being opened yesterday morning and as they were not charging us for the facility we decided to include the pub this year as a trial Terry
