  1. I'm not sure any actually do Ian, some most certainly and vehemently don't.
  2. I've tried to keep users updated when there's anything of substance to say. We should have the low-cost Google Ad-free version available for you soon. In the meantime those ads are paying for you to access the site FOC.
  3. They're not far away, towards the end of their journey. However, that can be subject to last minute changes at the moment thanks to bigger issues.
  4. Contra-rotating contrails containing contraband contrivancies.

      I'm against alliterative agony.

  5. Modellers should be used to development taking forever. To be fair it's different testing. Hopefully it'll all be over by Christmas. Back to the trenches.
  6. Welcome aboard! They're often the most interesting modellers.
  7. All that says is that it's difficult to determine absolute protection levels due to other factors in observational studies. It doesn't say they don't work and there's no point wearing them. Neil's point comes back to leadership and example-setting. If he has to tell us that it is what we should do if Plan B is deemed necessary it plays into the hands of those that don't want to.
  8. I'm doing just that next time Matt - except it's scheduled to be 6am - 9am on Friday. Will ring Wetherspoons to check.
  9. They've done what they can (in that regard) and none of us know whether the need for hospitalisation is down to waning effectiveness, lack of antibodies or lack of precautions etc. But that 35% comes from 80.2% of the eligible UK population whereas the other 65% is from 19.8% of the eligible population. No-one realistically expects it to be eliminated now but I think there's a fair assumption the majority would like to see it minimised more than it still is. As the government know who has been vaccinated and it's recorded with the NHS they surely must know who hasn't. Is there any direct marketing towards those people detailing in fag-packet graphic terms the potential outcomes of not being vaccinated?
  10. I believe they'll go down to 6.5" which is less than that quoted as a minimum.
  11. They do not cause any serious impact on loading times. If you have an issue it could be your device, its age or an OS that's not up to date. As for 'appropriating your device' that's one of the daftest statements I've ever read. Websites do not run on fresh air, we will have a low cost ad free option you will be able to take up soon.
  12. I've not received anything but the subject has been covered at length over sever weeks in the Advertising topic.
  13. Has someone been rewinding the tape again whilst I was out?
  14. There's been one in the R/H corner for weeks. Are you sure you mean bottom L/H corner? If so, can you please provide a screenshot?
  15. I get what you're saying now Mike and, yes, I think that's what is happening as the page is behind the ad. The only other solution is to click something else, such as View New Content, before clicking on the notification. I will raise this in a meeting tomorrow.
  16. That's always been there since the privacy software was changed to Quantcast. I wish I could make it go away too but I can't.
  17. There's a lot more of @Pete Goss in Episode 9 I'm pleased to say.
  18. Funny you should mention that; the people responsible for implementing that advertising code last night are in Aus. You can be our special envoy for poking people with a big stick so I can get a full night's sleep when they're 'testing' again.
  19. I haven't been able to replicate that Mike but I'll keep watching.
  20. I have just been told that things should be reverted to how they were yesterday shortly.
  21. As it is now the box is in Midland primrose rather than BR(M) cream.
