Me too....

Except my lad is now taller & broader than me...

eats more & more all the time

... and can drink his Dad under the table! :O

Ditto. My lad returned from 3 months in Oz last week and already the food bill's shot up!

A few more of my happy snaps, but no faux smoke or blue skies from me. (CBA - too many to do!)

Another version of DD with his novel set-up.

"Fine tuning" on the Modular layout. Taz just can't take it all in...

Graham Muz doesn't seem too impressed with Chris T's sales technique, probably because he's got more locos than KMRC...

Simon manages to add another small piece to his (literal) roundy-roundy 2mm opus.

I managed to grab this shot of 37 409 and its FNA without being seen by the police officers in the nearby van.

And the final one in this instalment, the Warners contingent plan world domination over pasties - what else?

Righty-ho, the last of my selection. Firstly, I would like to thank CK for the warm welcome at Taunton on Saturday. Only he could have arranged for two 67s to appear with the VSOE set only minutes after I alighted from the HST. The man certainly knows how to kick-off an event:

Shortly afterwards I spotted this interesting ensemble tacked onto Taunton station and immediately thought it might appeal to Stubby:

And speaking of the man, is that modesty or guilt on his face? An absolutely classic response to a light-hearted challenge.

"Sold to the man in the tame shirt (again)..."

Brinkly contemplates converting the Dyson to DCC:

Look, even Captains take their turn at swabbing the decks:

And finally....all together now: "There's only one Captain Kernow!"

That's all folks. I'm going for a lie down in a darkened room...

And converting the Dyson to P4, lashed to a pair of unmotorised Beattie Well Tanks!! :dancing:

And for anyone who was observant, since the last members day I have reduced in size by 2 and a half stone! Still another 3 to go, but as British Rail used to say, 'where getting there!' :yahoo:

Regards,

Nick

Yes, and it involves a certain person being sentenced to a load more washing up in almost 12 months time!! :P

 :P

You won't make it. You'll get privatised just when you thought it was all working!!

Yeah and enter a new period of growth! ;)

Not many pics from me as I was far too 'busy' playing trains but here we see a relaxed Stu (to the left) and Mike (Sidecar Racer) calmly readying stock

post-6859-0-46686200-1335910122_thumb.jpg

While at the other end the other Stu (Stubby 47) with two other generations of the Hilton family are engaged in joining modules

But while all that is going on a successful first trial move is made (albeit in the 'wrong' direction) between modules built by two different people as Mike's (Tigger) regal diseasal makes an entrance at the 'hole in the hill' in my module (Station Cat has noticed the shortage of rock face and will be making some additions for future appearances)

post-6859-0-12600700-1335910508_thumb.jpg

And finally a spot of retail therapy as, thanks to pre-order with KMRC and delivery almost to the layout by the ever helpful Mr Trerise, my 'instant train' makes its way through the 'hole in the hill'.

PS I'm sure there is no truth in the rumour that you have to be called Mike or Stu in order to take part in the module fun & games (although a hat-trick of Stu's to go with the hat-trick of Mikes might be an RMweb first?).

Guest Natalie Graham

Looks a good day. I'm still waiting for a photo of the loco in the thread title. You don't see a 29-4-12 every day. ;)

A few pics from me including one of the most distant layout ever to be represented at Taunton.

These are just a few of the many I took on Sunday; the selection is not intended in any way to imply favourites or preferences.
