RMweb Gold russ p Posted April 27, 2015 RMweb Gold Share Posted April 27, 2015 I'm pretty certain it's him. Wasn't sure if you knew him. He would have been a secondman at tinsley when the picture was taken. Saw him last year at Leeds when I was working tour de France special's and he was working for East coast

RMweb Premium Phil Mc Posted April 28, 2015 RMweb Premium Share Posted April 28, 2015 Going Dutch today. There's a few detail differences between the 2 pics of 097, it loses a shed sticker under the data panel and the diamond, but gains an arrow, black headcode boxes and a headlight ! long island jack
In May 2010(is it really 5 years ago),to celebrate the end of the Cumbrian coast floodex, a group of people formed 12D rail tours, to run a charter" Solway Viking "from Workington to York (all profit went to local charities) ,we had 37059 through out, and may I say, it did a excellent job, here's a few photos of the event 059 bring empty stock into Workington waiting for the road (and me) arrived in York Part of the motley crew who gave up there free time presentation of the cheques(and some more of the motley crew) My contribution to the tour, (some ones got to do it) was to man the real ale bar there and back!!! we run out of beer on the way back, some people blamed me for drinking it, which is not true, i was just testing the quality, (nothing worse than beer that's gone off ) but there were some (you may know Geordie) who didn't be leave the pumps were dry!! Wayward Hayward
Thought i would pop over to Norwich Crown Point on the way home to see what was around. I got lucky to find 37059 on the fuelling point waiting to head out of the depot. 37059 Norwich Crown Point 26/05/15 by Ryan Hayward, on Flickr After around 15 minutes of waiting, it finally left the depot and headed back to its resting point opposite Norwich station.
