I have to say I'm very pleased with both my purchases.

The Ruston is and probably will remain, my only diseasel. A charming little chap which seems to run very nicely indeed.

Westminster, the large Peckett, is an absolute joy even before running in. Far superior to the 0.4.0 version but not as cute.

Both will benefit from some judicious weathering.

I found my Peckett had coupling droop, so was unable to be used on TF without some remedial work.

Maybe using full TL couplings gets around this.

I am not suffering from droop.  I am able to couple and uncouple without remedial work being required.

That'll be the O gauge purchase if you get one of those eh?

Maybe......but then there is the small matter of the Memsahib and NHY minors and the need for a home for this hobby of mine...........

Youve obviously got tight nuts then..

I find hand tight is best

I prefer finger tight. Best not to overdo it or risk anything getting bent or snapping off.
