Nice little running session this afternoon with the Pick Up Goods from Exeter Riverside yard, Fresh Coal for the Yard, and Vans for the Goods Shed. Again the pics should tell the Story of the arrival, run around sort into the Yard and depart back to Riverside with the empty Coals and Vans replenished. A little weathering job to do later on a Bulleid and a Jubilee, and then some more jobs on here that I've been promising / threatening to do for a few weeks now. I'm still working on Porth Merryn as well, and I took two Show bookings for that at the weekend so that's a good sign of the confidence Exhibition Managers have in my finished product. Especially in your case where plan seems to go to full blown layout in about a week! Anyway you look at it - it is very impressive for a man of any age. Its easy actually, Pencarne is alongside the left and North Road on the right, that leaves 4.5ft across the middle to build Porth Merryn which is only 1ft wide in the middle and 18 inches at the end, so loads of room. Andrew P Posted April 28, 2016 Author Share Posted April 28, 2016 I have said that if I ever Sold Pencarne and North Road the I would have room for 4 smaller Layouts like Porth Merryn and West Shed and still room in the middle to build another.
