Thanks Paul, for such kind words, I HOPE to do similar sort of shots on Willsbridge one day.

I'd like to think that one day I can get Black Notley to that level too!

Time is always too short!

I need to build some more coaches as I have too many locos! Don't we all!  Ha Ha!

And in 7mm that's always a problem, I wish you luck mate.

Just popped in for a long overdue catch up only to find that Pencarne has gone AWOL.

Seriously though good luck with the next project mate. I'm sure you'll have us all on the edges of our seats over the next few months. I'm looking forward to see what you come up with.

Regards Shaun

I've just found some previously un published pics of Pencarne.

It shows D6327 arriving from Exeter St Davids with the 13.30 Local on the last day of Service on the Line.

At least you still have the photos of this great layout - thanks for sharing.

Personally I do not know how you parted with it.

Sorry I forgot to reply to you Bogie, Firstly I do know what you mean, after it had gone I did spend a few days regretting it but, time moves on and new ideas evolve and new ideas need to be tested, so that's what Bristol Victoria is all about, a Terminus as Pencarne was but in a Main Line environment, AND another NEW challenge.

Every day I wake up thinking, what can I do today that's new on a Layout that I haven't tried before, hence the Foam underlay on BV and there will be more ideas to come, I'm sure of that, some work, some don't, but if I don't try I'll never know.

Well eventually the Class 22 did depart, without a big fanfare, just the usual friendly wave from the Signalman who will now take early retirement.

The Crossing Keeper is moving to Bodmin and become Porter, and the Old Stationmaster will also retire, (there was a do for him in the Masons Arms last Thursday and I missed it).

I love the way the line goes round the curve towards the fiddle yard. Its very well done and entirely believable that its the rest of the world. Its one of the best fiddle yard exits I can recall seeing

Another lovely set of photographs. I hope the new owner of Pencarne is enjoying it as much as we have through Andy's excellent photographs. A shame that they are not an RMWeb member so that they can keep the story of Pencarne going.

I wish I'd taken more pics like this, although out of focus, the view through and over the Road Bridge really works well and looks so natural.

I will have some more pics soon.

That loco looks very 'sad' to be leaving Pencarne.....

That's what I love about the 22's .

Thanks Paul, it was one of my favourite bits, but the hardest to get to look a bit prototypical.

That poor old jogger just never got anywhere did he?

By the time he got to the Masons Arms, they were Closed, hahaha.

I still have some previously unseen pics for posting over time, along with many of my favourites.
