RMweb Gold Worsdell forever Posted April 21, 2019 Author RMweb Gold Share Posted April 21, 2019 Gone out in York for food and perhaps a shandy... first place had not had a food delivery so kitchen was having to close, luckily they had what we wanted. Found a marstons pub without Pedigree but then luckily found another with Black Sheep so now happy...

The Black Sheep is in a Theakston glass, that's like crossing the streams in Ghostbusters isn't it? 1
Popular Post gismorail
Hi Paul it was good to meet you on Saturday and to finally view your wonderful layout which I have followed from the start on RM web. It looks even better in real life and the whole setting and how you have presented the model is a credit to you. Thought I would share some of my pictures which I took on Saturday Hope you enjoy the rest of the show. 20 1

RMweb Premium Compound2632 Posted April 23, 2019 RMweb Premium Share Posted April 23, 2019 That must be the GP with his brown bowler and dog cart - probably a graduate of TCD. He seems to have trodden in a patch of something grey and squishy...
RMweb Gold Worsdell forever Posted May 8, 2019 Author RMweb Gold Share Posted May 8, 2019 While at York Mrs WF decided that there needed to be a horse and cart with someone riding in it going up the hill beyond the coal drops, we decided on a 'Governess cart' from Dart castings, the horse (or is it a pony) is also from them. The gentleman driving is from Andrew Stadden, it was hoped to put a lady in driving but the seated Edwardian ladies have rather large dresses.

RMweb Premium Compound2632 Posted July 21, 2019 RMweb Premium Share Posted July 21, 2019 (edited) I can't find the Google Translate option for translation from Spanish (mañana) to Yorkshire... Having recently discovered the world of smit marks (and learning that there are spotter's guides) I am not only admiring those on your sheep but questioning whether they are correct for this part of Rosedale? Almost definitely probably summat like right... Anyway, despite the late hour, Dr Sowerby is still out visiting.

jwealleans
Head and shoulders the best layout there. Be warned, though, it was hot where they were placed and there was a threat of Speedos for today..... 1
