Seeing the photo's above that's going to look superb. Nice to see where the buildings will sit in with the scenery. They look far better than being sat in a box in my loft.

It's going to be a nice little rural cameo scene in front of the sprawling industrial area at the back. I really like it a lot.

Cheers

Marcus

Just a couple of Hours in the Old Potting Shed today, but I thought I'd show what I've done with the Midland Fiddle Yard.

First the Plan.

Then I've used a Fleishmann curved left Point for the Exit to save having to change the Point direction. Fleishmann Points are very lightly sprung loaded to either Route. So the Route is set to the Exit, and incoming Trains just flick the blade across as they arrive from the other Route.

Both Midland and Western Fiddle Yards will have 5 Roads each and hopefully 3 for the Docks Branch.

Hi Marcus, Once there are a couple of Barges on the Canal some Water Plants, Swans ect. it should brighten up that end of the Layout and give a different perspective, and laid back look to the area compared to the Busy Station area.

A few pics of the testing this afternoon.

An un-identified Class 47 on the Midland Service from Birmingham New St waits at the Signal (O.K. it's not there yet so use your imagination), as Class 50, takes the Western Region Route with the Portsmouth Harbour Service.

will the section behind the bridge be scenic? if so, a banner repeater signal would be needed for the signal the 47 is held at.

Your right and yes it will be Scenic, the Repeater will go about were the rear coach is I recon, but I haven't got to that stage yet, and probably wont for another year or so, but thanks for the reminder Dan.
