MartynJPearson
I think it was the extra bit I did at the Cardiac Rehab in the Gym that triggered off the pain, so again, as the Doctors have said, it must be done, but S L O W E R and don't over push on the weight lifting and Chest pushes. Maybe setting your sights on the 2020 Olympics was a bit optimistic. Take it easy and look after yourself mate, and like the others have said, don't go overdoing it!

Young Andrew At weekends the on call medical consultant could be a cardiac doctor or a endocrine system specialist or the consultant for elderly care, they are all experienced medial physicians who if they needed the advice or help from a colleague would seek such advice straight away. If not normally, if admitted, your care would be taken over by their colleague who specialises in your condition on Monday morning. I hope you kept your brave boy badges. Cheers Clive, there were two Lady Doctors that came to see me, (probably because I was half naked and they couldn't believe such a young stud could be in their Ward), and one was the one that signed the letter and the other was a Cardiac Endocrine specialist.
380John
Take care Andy, feet up and be in 'research mode' all that's required is a brew (non alcoholic sort) and some magazines! You need to be fully rested for the F1 next weekend, I'm sure it wasn't last weeks yawn parade around monaco which got your heart a little excited! Get well soon! Andrew P
Thanks John, Yes I always enjoy Canada. Now a little story about that Canadian Race 4 years ago, I had my Stoke in the morning and was taken into Burton Hospital, they were doing many test etc as is normal, the Race was Live on TV at about 6pm and I was put in a small Ward with the TV on. The Doctor wanted to do some more tests which I wasn't looking forward to, so we had a deal that I would be a good boy for the test's, AFTER the Race if she let me watch it first. It was Danny Riciarrdo's first win, and that's how I remember it. Plenty of sitting and reading, yesterday I slept for nearly 4 hours during the day even after 8 hours the night before, and 7 hours again last night. My body feels worn out. I have so many plans and idea for new Layout builds, and things I want to do, but they will have to wait a bit.

Agh, so that's where I've been going wrong, I keep dreaming of great big schemes, hundreds of Points, miles of wiring and Trains running everywhere. hahah. Better leave KM as it is for now I think, I know I couldn't do half of what needs doing for a re build at the moment.

Considering the amount of daytime television I have had to endure during my absence from work I can only agree Andy. Each day is a procession of Lorraine, Jeremy Kyle, Good Morning and Loose Women. Quality television it is not! Andy - much better to sit and read a book / modelling magazine or paint another masterpiece.
RMweb Premium Ray H Posted June 4, 2018 RMweb Premium Share Posted June 4, 2018 SOAPS, Are you trying to kill me off? hahha. Andy, you remind me of my first encounter with our family GP a few days after I was allowed home after my heart attack. We've known each other for many years and he knows of old that I normally have both low blood pressure and low cholesterol. He read through the list of tablets that I had been prescribed by the hospital one at a time and muttered after most "That will lower your blood pressure" and at the end he put the list down, turned to me and said "What are they trying to do? Kill You?" He immediately apologised and we both laughed!

Andy, Go for a walk, even if it's cold to clear the head, and plan your next Layout, it's got to be better for you physically and mentally mate. Most TV sucks these days, although I did enjoy the Les Dawson tribute last night, the man was a comic genius.

Thanks Andy - sound advice, although if I start layout planning again that could well lead to divorce!! Having said that, I do have a few plans for developing the various half finished layouts that litter the house. Watch this space! (Well actually, my threads - but you get the idea). O.K. RMweb Premium brushman47544 Posted June 4, 2018 RMweb Premium Share Posted June 4, 2018 I know Class 50 availability was appalling when they arrived on the WR but after refurbishment it did get better, so you are allowed to use them... :-) But seriously I wasn't expecting to see new images from TOPS so soon. I do hope that's a good sign, but please take it easy as others have said.

And yes I am taking it easy, I perched myself on the High Chair this morning and simply ran some bits into the Station area to photograph them, I didn't even put the Door section in as it would have meant reaching over Pen Y Bont, and the Fiddle Yard, and that would have been a stretch and lift to far. I only had an hour out in TOPS this morning, then one of our Ex Son in Laws came around for coffee at 11.30, so I have been in the chair ever since, and fast asleep since Lunch Time. Back to the 50's and tomorrow I will run them out, maybe on either a Parcels Service or the Local Passenger Service to Reading. There will be more pics from this morning later, but NO more building, detailing, or actual work on the Layout for a while, and the same for Pen as well. Thanks again for everybody's thoughts etc.
