That 50 on  the layout is very well weathered. I also love the scenic stuff; amazingly realistic.

On the subject of faces/looks on loco's, how about the original Warships? What do they look like (in this context) from the front then?

Don't suppose there is any hope of a green diesel event at BZ?

Off to the Dorset Steam Fair next week normally about 100 plus real ales

Any new ones I should try hic !

Cornish Pasty company will be there, so it would be rude not to sample one.

I draw the line at the Lizzard though!

If the beer mat is anything to go by, it looks like a pint of K & B bitter, a pity it's no longer brewed in Horsham. The Old Sussex is a very nice pint, if a bit intoxicating, hic!

SS

Yes, and its in one of their old pubs, The Stout Housoe in Horsham. Sussex now brewed down in Blandford Forum by Hall and Woodhouse also known as Badger Brewery.

Now look Terry, that Dorset isn't Devon or Cornwall - it's well 'up country'.

I'm sure you'll enjoy the sampling process though - will be tough finding your favourite but I'm sure you'll do your best.

Bleedie 'eathan it's spelt Okehampton.

You'd think owning a caravan would make him worldly-wise wouldn't you.

For my sins I work full time as a machinist at the Mid Hants Railway. Using my phone this afternoon I showed the black and white photo to some of my colleagues. Most were completly taken in but eventually one said, "Yes it's a model because the top of the rails look a bit flat..." High praise I think if you can fool proffessionals!

Top class work all round!

Even at half a pint each - that's 50 pints.

Good luck with that....

Thanks for the comments Trevor - we can't claim brownie points for the loco or photography though - they are both Andy York's handy work.
