Waverley47708
Falkirk is one of those shows I always look forward to each year. Haven't missed it since the year I got the dates mixed up and turned up a few weeks too late!

Jim49
Regretably I’ll be away on holiday , so I’ll miss it for the first time in several years. Always a good show That's bad planning Legend, the Committee will discuss your actions later. We were supposed to be going to my Mother-in-law's that weekend but I put my foot down with a heavy hand and got out of it as the wife said she would go herself. Double victory!!!!! Jim49
Only just over a week to go until Falkirk's show. As Legend said, it's always a good, friendly show and with plenty of parking and excellent catering, should not be missed. It brightens up a bleak, dreary November. millerhillboy
One that goes in the calendar early. Always worth a visit and reasonably local too.

millerhillboy
Whilst most people this weekend are on about rucksacks at Warley things were a lot calmer several hundred miles away in Falkirk As always Falkirk never fails to deliver, a medium sized show but well ran and organised and good layouts every year. Really enjoyed it again, lots of friendly chatty operators too. Really enjoyed the WW1 layout as did my boys, obviously poignant anyway but this was superbly done. I also enjoyed Lomond Street, the big and great looking and sounding diesels of Dalnoter bring back great BR blue memories, also liked the scale of Grangemouth but the winner for me was the North of England layout. Absolutely superb and not even my era at all, the country house was outstanding but so was everything else. Loved it.
darrel
Another great show big thanks to the organisers. I'm a member of the Helensburgh and district model railway club and we were there with our world war one layout trenches. And we won best layout as voted for by the public, thanks to those of you who voted for us and thank you to millerhillboy for your kind comments. Over the weekend we were collecting money for Erskine hospital for injured military personnel thank you to everyone who donated money and a very special thanks, on behalf of the club, to the Falkirk club who surprised us at the end of the show with a very generous donation. Looking forward to next year's show.

Mike J
As a member of the Scarborough team that attended with North of England Line and Lomond Street, I would just like to add my thanks to those of GJB60009, to the Falkirk team for such a warm welcome and an excellent show. The many positive comments received about our layouts were warmly appreciated, and it was a pleasure to engage with such a friendly and knowledgeable crowd. (Thanks to Millerhillboy for 'the big house' comment) Congratulations to all concerned, I hope that the show was a success. It was certainly very well attended, and deservedly so. The Scarborough crew had an enjoyable weekend in your company.

jacko
Managed a few hours on Sunday with my better half and our 2 grandkids. They were mesmerised by the GRS Thomas display on the stage aswell as Tamshooglie. I loved the Trenches but have to say Grangemouth was my favourite layout although I did think there could have been more happening 'on scene' rather than just a string of passenger and freight trains on the mainlines. Next year's show is in the calendar. Graeme
