I reckon I should be on commission for all these clerestory coaches in wartime brown.:D

It was either you or @BenL who first suggested it - who'd of thought an old stalwart of the Hornby Range would be livened up for the 21st Century, complete with 3D printed bogies (work of the devil according to some I tell you).

Which reminds me I must order another set of Bogie's from Shapeways ;)

Kit progress - also there's now a third one back on the workbench..

HMS Buttercup - is over the halfway point in the instructions..

.. the Lifeboats are a kit in themselves.

The Mustang is almost ready for paint - unfortunately I'd got the wrong scale glazing masks (correct scale one's arrived this morning)!

Will put a build blog up for this later.

So with the Mustang temporarily stalled - the Lockheed Ventura returned to the bench. Yesterday was spent cleaning up the seam lines, adding the engines to the wings and building up their fairings and adding the masking set that came with the kit.

More work being done on it this morning - including getting the interior colour on the clear parts and turning more parts into sub-assembles. Plus I must do a build blog for it.

Just like to say that I found you via ANTB. Notwithstanding the difference in our modelling abilities (I accept mine are some what deficient in comparison, but it looks as if I’ll be working on it over the next month or so...), you seem to have encapsulated all my interests in one thread!  I’m very much into the silver/ 20’s and 30’s era of aviation, so many interesting if a bit crap planes, tanks etc.  I have two small areas on my layout for suitable models (once I get round to it). What’s happened to the Seafox? Should I start my Shark or crack on with the Roc? Thanks for filling an hour! But then I should have been modelling - bit of a dilemma really! Cheers, Mark

Thanks.

Cool! Had I been born just over 40 years earlier I might have had one of those strapped to my aR@e instead of a Lynx..... In the spirit of the times I’ve been arguing with a Cambrian 6 ton crane but have also got the Roc out. Hats off to anyone who had to go to war in one of those. Where did you get the kitchen roll? Does Mrs Tbg know?
P.S. Speed of a reply due to coincidence rather than stalking.....

Buttercup is nearing completion.

If you rotate the forrard turret, it plays a different tune depending on direction!

(A cracking model, Gromit!)

As for the M3, is that a "Honey I shrunk the tank" kit?

You've done them all very well!  (As young Mr Grace might say...)

A completed Corvette blog..

The Honey is a beauty of an Airfix kit (albeit an Academy tooling)

Darcie - Mrs Tbg is self-isolating in Nevada (her current abode) at present ;) and she encourages my modelling and knows how good I am with my hands :diablo_mini:

Stalking? I have my 'friends' at the Men in Malachite to deal with that ;)

Aah, if only Mrs Sp was in Nevada....  I am now having to live with my promise from a long time ago that I would do all the stuff around the house if only I had the time.... but on the up side B&Q is shut so a few hours modelling at least keeps me away from the wine rack :D
