Mozzer's new work bench 4mm That Welsh Brake Van building A AA/24

Recommended Posts

Hi Mozzer,

The twin-set looks real nice (could do with some pearls and a purple rinse?).

You said it was a nice kit to work from. Did you say which kit you have been building? I'm aware of the MARC kit, but I believe there are others (D&S and Bill Bedford to start with...).

Regards,

Vernon

The kit was by a Member over on the Model Rail Forum user name pedromrgan I had finished of a 3rd class twin set & restaurant set for a custoner But need a 1st set to finish the rake off & as the other kit were by him i got the 1st twin to make up the 7 coach set

Mozzer,

Thanks for that. The make is new to me. Seems quite a crowded market place!

That MTU's an interesting one Moz. Not heard of it before. Bet you're glad it comes with the right bogies.

Question if you don't mind: have you any experience with Southern Pride Models Thompson coaches with skirts over the solebars?

Sorry Larry i have not built any of Southern Prides Thompson coaches i have only built there MK1 & Mk1TPO

Hello Mozzer,

I've been trying to think of what an M.T.U. was. Can you let me know the full name of it, please. I can come up with Motor, (now T normally stands for Tourist or third ) unit.

OzzyO.

Hi OzzyO.

I was going to ask the same thing, but there is a link somewhere above to pictures of the real thing. I think its something to do with it being a test train.

Nice job so far though Mozzer. Perhaps you could re-post a link here as I have had trouble locating it too.....

Cheers.

Sean.

Oh, it just came to me, it's mobile test unit is it not?.....
