Will check next time I am out that way, but I don’t recall seeing it recently at Small Mouth and it isn’t there on Google Earth. Nothing left at the Backwater bridge, what was left east of Abbotsbury Road went with building development. This is the former Melcombe Regis station platform on the Portland Branch being demolished. (Slide from a PPT show of mine). Unfortunately I have forgotten the year I took the photo. Actually, it's for @NHY 581 - he's the only person who placed an order. I've offered him all 3 biscuits because I didn't want to waste them, having already had to open the packet.

RMweb Gold Mick Bonwick Posted February 12, 2021 Author RMweb Gold Share Posted February 12, 2021 But it doesn't have coach inside it. There is some useful packaging that can be recycled, though. Do you know what it is yet? 6

RMweb Gold Mick Bonwick Posted February 12, 2021 Author RMweb Gold Share Posted February 12, 2021 It will soon take its place at Easton, to be run during Rule 1 sessions. The story behind this little chap is that he (or rather his friend) was purchased about 6 months ago and entertained me quite happily for a good few sessions. Then, one day in October, instead of chuffing his way from the fiddle yard into the station, went 'fizz' and stopped on the lifting flap, just humming away to himself. Power off immediately. Funny smell. Email to Rails for advice. Returns label within the hour. Wait for Dapol to supply replacement. Parcelforce delivers coach-shaped package. Brief bit of entertainment on RMweb. Empty tea cup.
