Came across this in my travels the other night. Used to see the shop in operation many times in the past, before I rekindled my interest in the hobby. Sadly I never visited.

I'll leave this here for a while to see if anyone can guess / remember where it was.

Allan Brett Cannon at London Bridge?

Sorry Miss Prism, no cigar this time. Go west 25 - 30 miles.

King Charles Model Shop (Later Beatties) in Leeds? Vaguely remember that having an alley to go through on the way in.

And sorry John New, further south.

West of London?

My 2nd, and last guess, is therefore Eames in Reading. It was up near the railway station, visited twice on day trips to the town.

You've overshot the target.

Cookham High Street.

Did that not appear in one of the magazines at least once? It looks familiar and I've certainly never been to the shop!

Maybe the model shop was just a cover.

Maybe the Slow Horses* have got a new base.
