I must ask what you use for taking pictures with? I struggle to get results with either my phone or my camera and may hunt in the sales for something good for models. N gauge isn't always the easiest to shoot but your shots look great and do it justice.

I use my android phone, a ring light and a tripod. The ring light has filters so can adjust the type and brightness of the light. I then photostack several different focal points together (most pictures are made of 6 - 9 images). The image attached is 9 different pictures with different focal points, ring light has an orange and soft white filter, and turned to half brightness.

Cheers, I thought some assistance from lighting was the case. I have decent android camera too but have not got a light yet, tripod keeps it steady of course!!

Love the weathering on this loco, what did you use for the frames etc? I fancy trying to do my Freightliner 66...

 

Also on another comment someone made, focus stacking images is definitely the way forward in N gauge!
