Put me down for the dutch , the mainline, and the EWS versions.....

Bachmann have certainly made up for the lack of modern image Hornby are giving us this year !!

Yup, and you can almost guarantee it's going to be a lot better quality!

Morning all, Does anyone know of a supplier thats does 4mm replica railtour headboards such as Pathfinder etc? Im sure I have seen one once but can't remember where.

With all this new coaching stock on the way to South Wales I can see it being put to use on a Railtour or two. Many thanks.

Thanks guys, Thank you Marcus for the kind offer. I have now purchased 2 from Precision, they are only £2 each and had a great choice. Once the 7 coaches arrive from various locations I will start to put the rake together, I will have 5 InteCity Exce, 1 InterCity half brake & 1 InterCity Blue/Grey, 7 in the rake in total. Will use either FCEK Coal 37's, FMEK Metal 56 or InterCity 47 "Titan" to pull te Railtour.

Interesting Leon. What is it about 322 that you dont like? I've just got my first Vi-trains duff, and on test it was a lovely sweet runner. Mind I haven't chipped it yet! Kev.

Good evening all, more coaching stock finally arrived in South Wales from Bristol St Phillips Marsh?, great story, I collected them from the driver of a Freightliner 66 heading to Jersey Marine for loading, he managed to get his train into the former Pengam yard the other morning where I met him, how many can say they had a train delivered by train? Just waiting for one more coach to arrive, a Blue & Grey InterCity to make the rake 6

Anyway managed a couple of snaps in the murky evening of the rake stabled in the yard over the rugby weekend also a shot of the new concrete wall that has gone up, other than that not much other news sorry.

One question guys, I did buy a NSE brake, can anyone tell me if the combo in the picture would have happened? Im not concerned about the mix of NSE & InterCity as I know this did happen. My question is would the older brake be used with the more modern looking InterCity, the mix of windows dont look right to me, I see they are both C1 which I belive is relevent to the speeds? Thanks in advance.

That livery combo was certainly possible. Additional services running out of Paddington used to regularly have NSE, Intercity and blue and grey combos of mks 1 & 2 stock!

Summer Saturdays in the West used to be extremely colourful!!! Although I've seen photos of that same combination in Scotland too...

Thanks guys, would I be right in thinking the NSE bake is a MK1 and the InterCity MK2's then, and this combination of MK 1&2,s did happen?

After working the Rugby Specials over the weekend, "Titan" will be used on the mornings 08.00 Swansea to York service as a replacement to the usual 47/8.

Thanks 66, not sure it blends in with the freight yard, but nice to have a change I guess, will be concentrating on increasing the freig stock next. Could do with some more steel wagons.

Hi Leon,

Thanks for posting those last pics, wow really looking great.  So much atmosphere and I really like all the clutter, the cone, pallet etc.  These small details really add the to scene.

Keep 'em coming :good:

Cheers

Lee
