pH
I knew a guy who had been a seagoing engineer. They were in a South African port, and a crowd of them had gone out for a night in the town. Their ship was berthed some distance from the dock gates - a long walk on the way back at that time and in their state. One of the other engineers had done his time in the NB Loco, so they all piled into one of the dockyard’s diesel shunters and he drove them home. RMweb Gold The Johnster Posted January 22, 2023 RMweb Gold Share Posted January 22, 2023 Similar situation on Spanish package holiday with a lager lout sporting a brilliant estuary drawl, but I claim my response to have been just as good; 'yeah, do you?'.
