I like Jackos, and cats, but I have to say that putting a Jacko brain in a cat would destroy it's catness more thoroughly than lobotomising it!  Putting a cat brain in a Jacko would result in something very odd, though!

I hate Jack Russells with a passion. Vicious, yapping things. One frightened my granddaughter to hysteria this morning chasing her down the street. She’s scared of all  dogs at any time but this thing was the worst. If I had caught it I would have kicked it’s teeth in, if I had a gun I would have shot it dead.

I know how you feel, I hate other peoples children too, but for some reason the parents think they're important when in reality they'll just end up being a disappointment to them.

Perhaps they'd run out of Letraset?

Letraset is a thing of the past now, like calligraphy.

Comedian Roy Hudd used to be a commercial artist, working under Harry Beck (creator of the London Underground Map) specialising in hand draughting text. When Letraset first appeared, Roy saw his job prospects vanishing and moved to making people laugh full time. Now, it is all done on computers.

Have you seen the prices some people are asking for part-used sheets of Letraset on eBay?

Goodness gracious me! That's astonishing.

But obviously still useful for anyone who wants to make their own Wacky Signs. 😉

Off now to see if I can find the box of Letraset sheets I had in the attic.

Although, 30 years after they were last used,  I'd be amazed if they still had any adhesion.

I did notice that a shop in Salisbury {are we allowed to mention that it was Staples???  🤐 🙊} had a few Letrasets, perhaps rather basic, sets on sale.  They also had a Dymo machine and some tapes for it, which also surprised me a little.

This one works better in context, it was floating round social media a few years ago - apparently those guys, being all retired, would meet there every moring for a coffee, and always sit at the same table - so the owner made them the sign specifically.

Letraset is still produced and sold.

Seems to be reasonably freely available in a wide range. Mayfair stationers have a wide range of white (alone - many others) at £7.94 a sheet. I have no idea whether that is expensive, since it is a while since I bought any....
