Snofi
He's got this as well..... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Triang-LMS-Dining-Car-in-SDJR-Livery-/161769179555?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item25aa31c9a3 Not into close coupling then....
Andrew F
"Bogeys". Aren't they snotters? Perhaps there are some new ones (to go with the old crusty ones) on the coach; quite easy to believe.
RMweb Premium kevinlms Posted July 21, 2015 RMweb Premium Share Posted July 21, 2015 The replacement Mk I bogies are nearly as long as the coach! Well the 42ft Luggage van looked very similar, even the Lima one with replacement LMS 9ft WB bogies.

RMweb Gold Re6/6 Posted July 21, 2015 RMweb Gold Share Posted July 21, 2015 Spatter art! http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/LIMA-CLASS-60-60012-EWS-WEATHERED-LIGHT-KIT-amp-DCC-FITTED-MH312-/331610508903?&_trksid=p2056016.l4276
Il Grifone
Well the 42ft Luggage van looked very similar, even the Lima one with replacement LMS 9ft WB bogies. True, but these aren't even that long (6.75" over (original) couplings IIRC) and, on the LMS van, the bogies don't extend beyond the headstocks. RhBBob
Is that the version for working through the Channel Tunnel? But the SNCF like the SBB also 'drive' on the left.....
Bodmin Bob
The replacement Mk I bogies are nearly as long as the coach! These horr things are strictly 'collector's only' - especially warped acetate ones like this. Or how about this http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Lima-Brake-Coach-in-SDJR-Livery-/161769179404?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item25aa31c90c Unusual painting style - looks like it has actually been dipped into the paint pot as opposed to a brush being used. Didn't realise that the BR Mk1 coach design was based on a Somerset & Dorset design!!! Edited July 22, 2015 by Bodmin Bob

Didn't realise that the BR Mk1 coach design was based on a Somerset & Dorset design!!! Fortunately it's quite a common style. Bargains are to be had and then need the tender attention of an appropriate paint stripper.... (This isn't one of them! A Lima Mk I is roughly worthless, even in pristine condition IMHO)

peter220950
This looks like a bargain, currently sitting at £36.00, with a piece missing +£4.50 P&P http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/201387179747?_trksid=p2060778.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT pity it's available from Connisseur for £32.00 postage paid. http://www.jimmcgeown.com/Wagon%20Kit%20Pages/LNER%20Implement%20Wagon.html
Il Grifone
Have you seen the effects of paint stripper on cellulose? I did put "appropriate". Nitromors or similar will destroy plastic in nothing flat of course, but caustic soda or brake fluid will only affect the paint.
Horsetan
....caustic soda or brake fluid will only affect the paint. Frankly, the only thing that Lima coach is getting is caustic comment

Il Grifone
I have a couple of Lima Mk Is somewhere*, but even with 'Flushglaze', they are awful, though I think the windows are nearer the right size than Tri-ang's effort, certainly the ride height is. *The bin beckons....... Thane of Fife
I spotted this offering, with a very poor pic. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/00-4mm-FINE-SCALE-DJH-KIT-BUILT-GCR-GNR-NER-LNER-4-4-4-RAVEN-TANK-LOCOMOTIVE-/252034793919?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item3aae71c1bf I would be quite interested in bidding for this loco, so I tried to ask a question and if possible ask for more pics, as these locos are often constructed with the cylinders jutting out. I would also like details of the wheels and motor, but the vendor is not accepting questions. As a result he will not be accepting bids from me. Thane of fife To be fair, it looks like it was only listed last night, vendor may well be at work/busy/not permanently attached to a computing device? Edit: Apologies, I see what you mean, didn't know you could do that on listings. Mind you I haven't used eBay since they started insisting on PayPal use by vendors.
