Careful what you buy! I've heard Paul's chips in the J94 and it sounded very good, not sure who is best for the Prairie, Howes or SWD. georgeT
Had the lads around tonight for a weathering session, Mark just wanted the shine taken off of his 2p and lan wanted a light dusting and l wanted a really filthy look, so heres what we come up with they need finishing off with water and grease patches to finish, but they all look much more realistic....also did some work on the trolley bus today...

Miss Prism
I like the weathered Jinty, although it seems to lack a brown element to the overall appearance (too 'grey'?). Looking forward to your "finishing off with water and grease patches" treatment.
georgeT
Cheers Guys, The photos do appear to be very greyish, but there is a hint of rusty brown present around the wheels etc, looking for photos of the real locos to find exactly where the water and grease were... georgeT
Had a busy day today for a change starting with cutting up some sleeper out of PCB and then making some straight track sections, before tackling some points l need, the gave the trolley bus her new coat of Ford Rosso Red then some satin varnish and some transfers, l could only get 1;43 transfers and they were a bit on the big side, so a lot of trimming was required, its not perfect by any means but it looks like the trolley bus l wanted ?...
