Had a nice modelling day, Mark came round and we got his 2P up and running replacing the motor with a better one and adding new cab side numbers, l then started to prime two of my locos in grey primer...the 45xx will be in all over black as will the J94...

Hello mate, As l said on the phone this morning l was selling them both, but when they were done l changed my mind so they both need a sound chip now, lm at the Manchester show on Saturday so l will see if any are available....

Careful what you buy!

 

I've heard Paul's chips in the J94 and it sounded very good, not sure who is best for the Prairie, Howes or SWD.

Had the lads around tonight for a weathering session, Mark just wanted the shine taken off of his 2p and lan wanted a light dusting and l wanted a really filthy look, so heres what we come up with they need finishing off with water and grease patches to finish, but they all look much more realistic....also did some work on the trolley bus today...

Cheers Guys, The photos do appear to be very greyish, but there is a hint of rusty brown present around the wheels etc, looking for photos of the real locos to find exactly where the water and grease were...
