TomJ
It makes you realise just how small the Par locos were when you see them coupled to stock or next to another loco. Guess there won't be one in N gauge for a while.......

Old Gringo
Thanks for bringing the atmosphere of the weekend to us all on RMweb. It is especially appreciated by those of us up here in the wet midlands! Wish I was down there with you sniffing the Well tank's steam and eating Cornish pasties and ice cream. All the very best, John.

janner
Great photos, thanks for sharing them, it was an excellent day and the weather was quite reasonable. I didn't get ride on anything as, apart from a quick bite of lunch, I was behind the counter in the shop all day.
Guest 34008Padstow
Sorry for late reply. Thanks for all the comments chaps. The T9 was tucked away in the shed behind 5552.
Tim V
Had a ride today, enjoyable, a 1950s feel apart from the tannoy on the train - why?

RSLR
I was there the next day with my china clay train display - not as spectacular as the last time, but still The boys from Wheal Martyn also brought along their truck aswell as having thier display in the coach which mine was along side! I didn't get very many pics of the event this time unfortunatly, mainly because I was unable to leave my post and got dragged into explaining how clay trains have changed, talking facts and talking to enthusiasts & passengers about the different china clay related displays - it's interesting sometimes who you do meet! I got a nice pic of Simon on the 50 which was taken leaning out of the signal box window And at the end of the day the Wheal Martyn boys go off in their claggy truck proper job! I will be showing West Fraddon at an event at Wheal Martyn when they let me know when that is haha but very kind of them to invite me all the same The bad news is unfortunately I was unable to exhibit any display at the Bodmin & Wenford railway for any of their latest galas (and possibly in the near future) due to them apparently not having room to display, which is a shame really (and inaccurate to say the least) - at the time they didn't put in an invite or kept me up-to-date and failed to reply to any of my emails, so me being me I paid them a visit and that was what they said! I'm not sure what is going on with them at them moment as they seem to have taken an unfriendly attitude towards me lately! However some good news! the B&DMRC are featuring my layout at their show held at Bodmin community college in November and I can't wait to stick my layout's first brass plate on!!! Cheers
RichardTrevithick
Didn't know where else to put this! The B&WR Class 20 in action still in Channel Tunnel livery. Anyone know the couple watching from the platform?
