Apologies if I’ve posted this already, I don’t think I have but I’m not entirely sure.

Anyway it was my turn to pick the colour scheme for our garden cabin this time…

I don’t what you think you’re seeing but I can assure you that it’s just a coincidence. 😉

I want one .... Mrs B wasn't too keen when I suggested the colour scheme for one of our houses, this particular one had wooden windows to.... I did venture to say that cream and green would look nicer than plain white and black

I’d like to do the house like it, but I’d probably better not push things too far! 😄

When I was a lot younger we had a neighbour who drove buses for Greenline. His garden shed was a distinctive shade of green.🙄

Sounds like a certain episode of 'On the Buses'!

In my youth, round here, you could tell who worked on the railway from the presence of SR Green No3 on various parts of their homes, bicycles, allotment sheds, wheelbarrows, etc....

Handy!

I wonder if that parking area belongs to the cottage, and if so will the owners find that rail users think its there for their benefit?

Also, being stuck between the road and the railway might be a bit noisy...

With:

  • a steady stream of tourists peering through your windows
  • people knocking on your door, asking to use the toilet.
  • everything shaking when The Jacobite rolls through

Battleship Grey was a popular colour on properties around Appledore in North Devon back when. Appledore Shipyard was a big employer in the Bideford area ......could explain it!

Many houses in Clydebank had fixtures, fittings, curtains etc etc remarkably similar to those in cabins on the QE2.

There was a story that, at one point during the QE2’s fitting out, her gross weight was actually steadily reducing.

Along the same lines:
