blueeighties
A bit of sun today, and a few locos rolling off the workbench. Made for a nice combination :-) 55004. 55004c by rothburyuk, on Flickr 55004b by rothburyuk, on Flickr 55004 by rothburyuk, on Flickr 40135 40135b by rothburyuk, on Flickr 40135 by rothburyuk, on Flickr 40162. This is the first blue centre headcode one I have resprayed. Chosen by the customer as it was the last one to retain roller blind headcode displays. I have added the extra nose end handrails. 40162 by rothburyuk, on Flickr Must replace those missing lamp brackets. 40162b by rothburyuk, on Flickr 37116 in Transrail guise 37116b by rothburyuk, on Flickr 37116 by rothburyuk, on Flickr 37068, 'Grainflow' 37068b by rothburyuk, on Flickr 37068 by rothburyuk, on Flickr 37054 in rather drab departmental grey. dvdlcs
Excellent detail but the newspaper headline caught my eye - what is a "ROBERY" ? Sorry, I pick up on these things. The "Eric Clapton is God!" graffiti is a famous example, but I forget where it was written.

Redsrail
Hi Lee, Lovely spray jobs you have here. Might i ask what the springy type contraption thingy is that you use to hold the loco bodies whilst working on them? Maybe it's a home made affair perhaps? Either way i could do with a similar kind of thing, provided it works for N gauge of course.
blueeighties
Hiya, cheers. It's a Tamiya rotatable paint stand, with spring clamps that work internally on the body being sprayed. They can be used for n gauge Link here... http://www.amazon.co.uk/Tamiya-Spray-Work-Painting-Stand-74522/dp/B00080DIWE

blueeighties
It's surprising how much stuff I am having to order these days. 010 by rothburyuk, on Flickr The 'daily' paints.. 003 by rothburyuk, on Flickr And the reserve stock. 004 by rothburyuk, on Flickr Still try to keep a reasonably tidy bench 001 by rothburyuk, on Flickr

Jaz
OMG don't let Kal see this....he is always pointing how messy I am, I spread off in all directions, and despite having homes (Stanley trays that stack up nicely) for each brand of paint....they are usually strewn around my expensive iMac....I drive him nuts.....especially if he goes to his desk...and my stuff is there too....oops.....the longer I stay in one place the wider the mess gets....like a little volcano oozing out of the ground with pots of colours and bits of model.....

blueeighties
I would rather sit through a One Direction concert than have to mask another one of these off. 008 by rothburyuk, on Flickr 007 by rothburyuk, on Flickr 009 by rothburyuk, on Flickr This mornings job....stripping all of the detail off these in preparation for paint stripping. 011 by rothburyuk, on Flickr Started stripping the glazing out of these so as I can fit laserglaze. Easier said than done. Hornby seem to have used their special 'concrete mix' glue.
