RMweb Gold Popular Post Captain Kernow Posted April 28, 2023 RMweb Gold Popular Post Share Posted April 28, 2023 A couple of photos, the first showing the Peckett 'Plantagenet' in it's normal home, on the South Polden Light Railway on the Somerset Levels: 'Plantagenet' was loaned on at least one occasion in the early 1960s to the Vale of Radnor Light Railway. Both railways were members of the Association of Independent Light Railways, which facilitated such inter-company transfers. Here is 'Plantagenet' in the yard at Capel Bethesda: 42

RMweb Gold The Johnster Posted May 20, 2023 RMweb Gold Share Posted May 20, 2023 Bet that was fun in the Portland Race and rounding Land's End! I suspect she'll be in the Bristol Channel area for a while awaiting a break in the weather to get back to her home waters, so we'll no doubt be seeing a bit more of her; these vessels were usually run by owner-skippers and she'll be looking for cargoes locally in the meantime. 3

Popular Post froobyone
Hi all. Long time no post. I was always fond of this shot from the now dismantled Hullbridge layout. Depth of field is a tad too shallow, but that's the problem with shooting in daylight without ND filters. Best Daniel

Very impressed with the barge, was the starting point the Vintage Miniature kit? if so I found the kit a good starting point, but apart from the hull not much else was used, my model of "Thomas" registered at Rochester, on my Janes' Creek layout. 17
