cary hill
Have you ordered the Orange paint for the beach hut yet? There could be penalties if you are relying on some last minute Robben to get hold of some.

The first hut wil be yellow but there will be an orange hut if Holland win the gold trophy.

That'll be the 'Neymar' luxury beach hut then, it could be worth up to £250,000 in today's money.

However, due to copyright I won't shew it till its finished and paid for. I'll shall miss the blank canvas. RMweb Gold gwrrob Posted July 7, 2014 Author RMweb Gold Share Posted July 7, 2014 I must admit the Castle is stunning Thanks Paul.I built it long before I had a layout let alone building ANTB.Of course it's now redundant probably like the 1368 due to far superior rtr items coming along. It's a lot heavier than the Hornby version that's for sure. I think am sure Spams will do a good job, My view so far on Heljan's effort tends towards the opposite extreme because the liveries hinted at show a distinct lack of research while the CAD was very unimpressive. We will see what we shall see.

cary hill
If it's the Hornby Grange, I recently acquired a (heavily?) weathered BR 'Paviland Grange' R3019. It runs and pulls fine. Hornby seem to be closer to getting back "on track" with this release, as the build quality seems better than some recent releases. I believe from comments and pictures on another thread that a small "spindle" is missing, when compared with earlier releases, although it seems to have taken some time for anyone to notice it's absence. The only "complaint" I have is that the "weathering" seems to be largely concentrated on the nameplates, although they will be replaced in due course. I wonder did the GWR/BR(W) make any special attempts to keep plates, numbers and insignia cleaner than the rest of the locomotive?
RMweb Gold gwrrob Posted July 8, 2014 Author RMweb Gold Share Posted July 8, 2014 Tonight I'm looking for opinions on a couple of items. Firstly I've printed off a sample of the Captains photo to see what it will look like in situ. With a Grange. Secondly. In last years August BRM there was an article on repainting the Skaledale garden shed in a candy effect paintjob for a beach hut.Picking out alternative planks in colour but I think that would be a touch ostentagous post war.I think it looks quite nice with just the door and roof trim picked out.Any thoughts here.
