Bon Accord
Summer 88 or 89? As I remember 423 was named in May 88 at Fort William and she looks suitably weathered here, plus part of the K1's tender is visible in the Mallaig shot.
55016
Less likely to be summer '89 as the WHL was 'sprinterised' in January of that year.
Alcanman
It would be 1988, as that was the last time I visited the WHL. Mal

RMweb Gold 4630 Posted July 6, 2015 RMweb Gold Share Posted July 6, 2015 Colas 37s 37175 and 37219 top 'n tailed 1Q06, 0942 Doncaster West Yard to Doncaster West Yard on 6th July 2015, approaching Barnetby. Wraby Junction signal box is in the background and the fine array of semaphores which, sadly are not much longer for this world as they're scheduled to go in December 2015.

RMweb Gold beast66606 Posted July 10, 2015 RMweb Gold Share Posted July 10, 2015 37059 went to Wolverton to collect some repainted/refurbished coaches for AGA - due to over enthusiastic engineering work at Witham a few days ago there are major problems on the GER line so the train was routed down the WCML, up the ECML and then across through Cambridge and Ely and down the Brecklands to Norwich. As usual the sun is on the wrong side for both the outbound, morning, and the inbound, evening shots. and as usual, thanks to the DRS guys. RMweb Premium newbryford Posted July 10, 2015 RMweb Premium Share Posted July 10, 2015 we've had a test train running between Derby-kingmoor all week, no idea what for, with 37611 doing the honours seen at Workington 37611 wk 1.jpg Ray Original reports were that it's a gauging trial for IFA flats around the coast, although it transpires that it's riding trials to see if modifications to the IFA have improved their running qualities. There is visible cabling coming out of the back cab window of the 37. Cheers, Mick
