RMweb Premium newbryford Posted March 2, 2014 RMweb Premium Share Posted March 2, 2014 Cracking!... If you were home Mick, how did you miss 3 of EE's finest thrashing?? You need a hearing aid... Jack. I wasn't home - that was the problem. I tried to swing work near to a convenient level crossing, but we got stuck in traffic! (At that point in time, I only thought there was one 37 on 6K05.) Cheers, Mick

RMweb Gold Trevellan Posted March 5, 2014 RMweb Gold Share Posted March 5, 2014 Here's 37 355, looking rather work-stained and neglected at Exeter Riverside on 30th December 1988. A bit of weathering inspiration, if nothing else.

Wayne 37901
Hi Eggesford, Some nice pics there, nice to see some Heavyweight 37 action. To help with the numbers, the leading loco in your first pic is 37905. If I'm correct, the loco in your second pic is 37903. Wayne 37901
Nice photos!!! Seconded! Thanks for posting those up Eggesford. Shame about that BBA in the loop, must have been 'fun' recovering that with a load of coil on board. Can't be any help ID'ing the loco either as most of CF's metals 37/7s carried no names or the last three digits on the nose. Cheers
