I see you have black lines above your pics and you said in my thread these are still from an iPhone video

May I suggest that once you pause the vid where you want to capture a ‘photo’ turn the iphone to landscape orientation so the picture fills the whole screen then ‘screenshot’ it with the lock and home button as normal that way you get a big picture without the black lines

What iPhone do you have as you should have the ability to take a pic as it’s videoing too with the white capture button below the red record one

The same pairing of Colas 56s worked 6M32/6E32 on 10th July too.

56094 leads 56090 with 6E32, 08.55 Colas Ribble Rail to Lindsey Oil Refinery, crossing the River Calder and Calder and Hebble Navigation viaduct at Greetland Junction, between Sowerby Bridge and Elland.

Double-headed 56s now seem to be a permanent fixture on 6M32/6E32.

56094 leads 56096 with 6E32, 08.55 Colas Ribble Rail to Lindsey Oil Refinery, at Brighouse on an unpleasantly hot and muggy 23rd July.

No prizes for guessing this location!!

Leicester UK Rail Leasing.

Monday 30/07/18

56038 Fertis grey, 56018 Fertis grey, 56104 ex large logo grey. Green 0-4-0 shunter. (Anyone know what this is?)

These were being moved from the sidings near the mainline to the shed at the back.

The Fertis engines are meant to be out of service. 56104 was reported as working. I guess these will be taken for Gbrf.

Following yesterdays variety with a Colas class 70 on the Lindsey Oil Refinery/Preston Docks 6M32/6E32 bitumen tanks, normal service was resumed on 7th August with double-headed class 56s.

After a signal stop on the approach to Heaton Lodge East Junction for a couple of late running Northern and TransPennine Express services (no surprises there recently!), 56094 and 56090 restart 6E32, 08.55 Colas Ribble Rail to Lindsey Oil Refinery.

Presumably on their way for use on weekend engineering duties, Colas 56090 and 56113 at Brighouse on 25th August working 0C56, 07.00 Doncaster DCE Sidings to Crewe Basford Hall.

The pair paused briefly at the station to pick up a member of train crew who had been waiting on the platform.  That's the first time I've seen that happen at Brighouse.  Also interesting to see that work has commenced on the platform extensions too.

Are they the ex-Railtrack green PNAs?

Possibly related to siding construction work going on at the MNR in relation to stabling the new GA stock?

Cheers,

Mick

Is this the 56 that's officially preserved but hired out to the Main line operators. ??

Owned by Class 56 Locomotives Limited, the corporate face of the Class 56 Group, who are also custodians for 56006. 006 is our baby and profits gleaned from the hire of 301 are ploughed back into the upkeep of both locomotives.
