Yes, and by the early 1960 some of them were no longer glazed, just plated over. It will be interesting cleaning the platform roads when they are all stuck down!

Train-borne track cleaning should do the trick.

We will see. A couple of these are available for trial purposes.

Last night we found the glue where Andy Ross had been ballasting. We need to make sure this is cleaned off everywhere before we take it off to our first show in Swindon.

Forgot the camera last night. Doh!

Photo updates next week. But....platform edges have been painted (Nicktoix) and the mainlines between the platforms have been ballasted (Chairman Andy Ross).

Progress seems slow but it's all coming together.....

I thought that was you.... Don't you know what time of year it is???? The Scottish National show you know, very busy getting things ready to demo as well as going in this morning to set up the EMGS display boards, just had some lunch and a sit down.

Anyway the Midland stops are out of stock till I can do a casting next week, seems to be a few BR(M) layouts being built just now.

All the best,

TFIC

Dave Franks.

Track and ballast looks very nice Baz. However, isn't there something wrong with the two dolls on the gantry? the arms look as though they are back to front and the lamps on the wrong side of the posts.

rushed to get the posts done and have managed to put them on the wrong way round... oops! Easily fixed!

and no problems Dave... the area they need to go into is ready for them but more work still required before we need them...
