RMweb Premium Popular Post alexross42 Posted April 11, 2022 RMweb Premium Popular Post Share Posted April 11, 2022 (edited) I've already posted this in the 'Railways of Devon' thread as well as on a couple of other sites but thought worth sharing as (in my view) it's quite a unique shot of a 50 with a rare consist: 50002 'Superb' runs into Exeter St. Davids from the West with what's been suggested is an MOD working, 20/05/1984: Regards, Ross. RMweb Premium Claude_Dreyfus Posted April 23, 2022 RMweb Premium Share Posted April 23, 2022 Class 50s on the south coast. 50007 looks resplendent in its GBRf livery as it hammers through Ford with the BLS tour along the south coast and then up to London. The train has a number of reversals timetabled, so both locos will get significant legs of the journey leading. The reversal at Littlehampton meant that 50008 takes the lead as it passes through Shoreham.

RMweb Premium brushman47544 Posted April 26, 2022 RMweb Premium Share Posted April 26, 2022 There’s nothing quite like these superb photos of scruffy Class 50s as they arrived on the WR. Photos of clean and shiny 50s as they are now just don’t look right to me, however good and interesting they are. 30 minutes ago, montyburns56 said: 50039 St Blazey 1980 by Keith Wilde 3
RMweb Premium Phil Mc Posted June 13, 2022 RMweb Premium Share Posted June 13, 2022 50026, looking, and sounding, fabulous at the KWVR diesel gala last Saturday. Not sure why the software is making it look like 50026 is doing an impression of 50025.....

Wonderful image. If you cropped the bridge from the photo, the viewpoint would be so unknown I wonder if anyone would have guessed the location.
