Alex Morning Alex, They are from the Tasma Products range. They're a bit pricey @7.49 for a pack of 10 but they're a good start. The image is as they come. The stems etc are wire which frankly doesn't work. I removed the leaves and flowers and plonked them on a bit of double sided tape, to hold them. Some red oxide weathering powder was then applied to the leaves, along with a few specks of sand. Unsurprisingly, they are quite bright to start with and some dark earth was flicked across them which toned everything down and brought it all together. The flowers were then dabbed with a fine alcohol based pink marker. The colour seeped into the material just a tad to suggest a pink tip to the flowers. Leaves and flowers were then glued down individually onto the 'water'. Expensive as most of it was thrown away but worth it. Rob. 12 1 1 7

RMweb Premium New Haven Neil Posted April 6, 2023 RMweb Premium Share Posted April 6, 2023 I have found the Hornby J15 to be the best running RTR loco I have come across, way back when. Twin flywheels IIRC? I'm sure there's one in my treasure box up in the loft - just in case you understand.
RMweb Premium John Besley Posted April 6, 2023 RMweb Premium Share Posted April 6, 2023 (edited) Rob looking at your waterlilies, they would make excellent weeds in 7/8ths.... what's the web site please... Just spent an hour pulling up weeds that would look like those in my garden... If the glowers where painted yellow they would be 7/8,ths scale Marsh marigolds pretty much. Just what I need seeing as it's springtime on Exhill Edited April 6, 2023 by John Besley

RMweb Gold Popular Post NHY 581 Posted April 6, 2023 Author RMweb Gold Popular Post Share Posted April 6, 2023 Evening all, I thought you may be interested in the current view of the Room of Doom as seen from the Chair of Deliberation at the Desk of Doing. This then is my view from said seat as I look around... Immediately adjacent to the Desk of Doing- Bleat Wharf. Just above and to the right-Sheep Dip. And just behind me- Ewe. RMweb Gold NHY 581 Posted April 9, 2023 Author RMweb Gold Share Posted April 9, 2023 (edited) Morning all and a Happy Easter. I'll now be taking Sheep Dip along to Exmoor Rail in Minehead on Saturday 5th August. This is a firm favourite of mine and will be the third visit of the Ovine Continuum to the show, which has previously featured Mutton and Bleat Wharf. For anyone who hasn't visited, it's a lovely, friendly relaxed show thanks to the efforts of Dave (exmoordave ) and his team from The Exmoor Coast Railway Modellers. The welcome extended to visitors and exhibitors alike is second to none. Recommended.
