Paul thanks for the photos of your signal it is the same way I was going to move the arms on mine. The main difference being the wire goes straight through to the servos rather than through the weight shaft. I could not see having another linkage in the system working for me long term!

Glad it's been of use.

Took the signal and pots of paint to the club tonight and made good progress with painting, next job is the spectacle glasses.

Spectacles glazed, quite pleased with this signal.

I've added weeds to the completed side of the cutting and the side of the road, a little Woodland scenics fine turf - a sprinkling of 'green' followed by a little 'burnt grass'.

I've planted a hedge along the backscene to hide the joint, it needs a bit more adding when the glue on this has dried. The tree needs a bit of tidying up and I think it will go here.

The rest of the trees that were around the mine will go in the corner, they need quite a bit of work doing to them before they're planted.

Lots of little jobs done this week and a few other details prepared off the layout ready for fitting later.

The fence on the other side of the cutting has been completed and weeds added the the cutting side.

The last of the grass has been added to the mine board/board 1 and a hedge started at the side of the ridge and furrow field, this will get built up higher when the glue on this is dry.

This is the overall scene as it is at the moment, good progress but still quite a bit to do.

Oh yes, there's been some additional colour added hereabouts...

There's also a flock of 28 Masham sheep to populate the front field.

They're having a board meeting at the moment...

nice job on the sheep, where are the lying down ones from please?

They're Dart castings, I've had an assortment of sheep for some time, it turns out that the best ones for my purposes are the oldest - the Modelscene ones, with the laying Dart ones mixed in. I didn't use the standing dart ones as they were a bit chunky, you get standing, eating and laying in a bag.

And now...

Kebabs!

There's also one plastic one but I have no idea of it's origin, it was in the soft yellowy plastic once used by Airfix. One of the standing 'Modelscene' ones appears to be whitemetal but identical to the others, I only noticed when I was drilling it for the pin.
