Devondynosaur has been really helpful and supportive. Please respect the advice he's giving as blog posts should contain something of substance. Please do look at some examples of good blogs.

Agreed.

This is definitely one of my favourite blogs. I think it is great to see the progress each week presented in a fantastic way.
I wholeheartedly concur; exceptional quality and one of my favourite spots on the site.

Whilst Phil's advice is sound please note you're better off asking questions on the forum rather than in a blog entry - http://www.rmweb.co.uk/community/index.php?/forum/25-modelling-questions-help-and-tips/

only ONE cask real ale!
Sorry; it seems as though we cleared them out of the bottled on Saturday. Oops.

I love the mistiness in the backscene there; those reeds are rather good too!

Sadly I've had to remove the images due to copyright issues. Very interested in the project though.

Those trees are superb Tom, have you done a how-to anywhere?
Ignore my lazy question - I've just found http://www.rmweb.co.uk/community/index.php?/blog/347/entry-9197-ropley-it-must-be-spring/ - superb; the best 2mm trees I've ever seen!

I'm glad you used the word 'bedazzled' rather than the contemporary Essex alternative.

It seems you've always had an eye for a good shot -http://www.flickr.com/photos/nevardmedia/7007193217/in/set-72157629282520252

The lengths your arch enemies will stoop to!
This is looking superb Pete and I can see some knockout photo angles appearing in it.

Just to clarify; the only 'restrictions' related to the publishing of a scanned article from the Continental Modeller.

I don't necessarily view this as a suitable blog entry but I am aware of the history.

Excellent Frank; I particularly like the tufts on the bank.

An excellent improvement Al.

I do like that slice of Welshness Frank.

I've really enjoyed seeing this take shape; bags of atmosphere and a lovely photo setting.

Sorry Stuart, such things should be asked (at best) as a question in the forum but is potentially in breach of our advertising rules anyway. It's unlikely anyone would engage with a user with no posting history on the forums on such a request to be honest.
-
I swear by one of these too Frank; there's something quite therapeutic in giving a loco a quick blast on one.

Please post some content of substance in blog entries - see http://www.rmweb.co.uk/community/index.php?/topic/47303-blog-quality/page__hl__%2Bblog+%2Bquality__fromsearch__1 rather than just links which tell the reader nothing about what they're likely to find.

I would appreciate it if these blog entries actually gave something of substance rather than a means to get people to go to an external blog. I would suggest a more complete version of the blog entry would be appropriate.

Here's wishing you a less stressful 2012 Frank; lord knows, you could do with it!

I'd suggest asking in prototype questions rather than a blog entry.
I won't spoil the answer!
