https://www.sussex.police.uk/news/sussex/news/court-results/video-speeding-driver-who-hit-141mph-on-a27-is-banned/ What I don’t understand is what the “driver” was looking at - the camera vans aren’t subtle and it a common place to spot to see them.

Accurascale Class 55 Deltic - 4mm scale
StuAllen replied to Andy Y's topic in Accurascale / Irish Railway Models
@Accurascale Fran Will the people that already registered but weren’t quite quick enough when you had a few left over after packing still be on your list or should we register interest again? -
Great last few laps

Sky have just confirmed the rule, since the red flag came out before all the cars passed the 2nd safety car line the they revert to the start order. Learnt something new today. George was saying he could have made it back but stopped to check on Zhou but when he got back in the car it would start. Protesters were on wellington straight
-
Ok that’s just idiotic - Crofty has just said that a group of protesters actually made it on to the track during the first lap - now being dealt with by the local authorities
-
Bit odd - race control are saying that they need to revert back to the original starting order
-
Just shown the start - wow!
-
That’s normal until it’s confirmed the driver is ok, Zhou in medical centre now, conscious throughout apparently. Mercedes’ mechanic are trying to get George’s car fixed to see if it can restart. Doubt they’ll let him but like the thought process.

One thing I didn’t think of when I bought mine - can I run it on a DC layout? Do I need to do anything to disable the DCC stuff ?

Accurascale Class 55 Deltic - 4mm scale

Wasn’t quick enough for a purple one today but I did have a deltic shaped box from Locomotion waiting for me when I got home today, so it’s not all bad. -

So these look great but what coming first - the 37’s or the 92’s -
Accurascale Class 55 Deltic - 4mm scale
StuAllen replied to Andy Y's topic in Accurascale / Irish Railway Models
Meld arrived a few days ago, brilliant model! Guys at Accurascale have done a great job - can’t wait for the class 92s, and class 37s. There will be a lot of rule 1 on my layout when I build it, but I’m not sure I can justify a Manor even though I really want one. I know there has been some talk of issues with coupling and I thought I’d check. I don’t know what else Accurascale could have done, according to my crude measurements they have made it as per the NEM specifications, not all manufacturers seem to be as diligent. See photos below - the worst offender is my Hornby Mk1 Restaurant Buffet, I tried it with a Bachmann Mk1, a Cavelex TEA, and an Accurascale HYA. I can’t tell if the differences affect the running as I only have a short straight setup for testing currently. -
Mine arrived from Kernow Model Rail Centre today, well packed as usual. I really like the detail on the non driving end.

@Accurascale Fran does that mean the class 92’s are due soon as well? -

A few firsts for me today - never visited the SVR until today, also the first time I’ve see. A western in the flesh. Looking forward to seeing Elizabeth II later

Accurascale Class 55 Deltic - 4mm scale
StuAllen replied to Andy Y's topic in Accurascale / Irish Railway Models
I had a slightly different experience with Locomotion, I got my email this morning as well - when checking out the postage charge was applied during the payment process but it did say in the email requesting payment that it would be added although not how much it would be. It didn’t come as a surprise and I’m guessing they couldn’t put it in the email as it hadn’t been calculated at that point. I’ve just checked back to my deposit and that didn’t have a delivery charge on it -

See link to thread here: -
Yes, but I haven’t managed to test it fully. When I ran the power cars back to back both worked, so I’m assuming it was a connection issue. Unfortunately I haven’t got my layout setup so haven’t been able to retest the whole train.

These should be the links to each of the legs - hoping to see them as the train goes through Keymer Junction… https://www.realtimetrains.co.uk/service/gb-nr:U63813/2022-04-23/detailed https://www.realtimetrains.co.uk/service/gb-nr:U63812/2022-04-23/detailed https://www.realtimetrains.co.uk/service/gb-nr:U63814/2022-04-23/detailed https://www.realtimetrains.co.uk/service/gb-nr:U63815/2022-04-23/detailed https://www.realtimetrains.co.uk/service/gb-nr:U63816/2022-04-23/detailed https://www.realtimetrains.co.uk/service/gb-nr:U63817/2022-04-23/detailed https://www.realtimetrains.co.uk/service/gb-nr:U63918/2022-04-23/detailed https://www.realtimetrains.co.uk/service/gb-nr:U63810/2022-04-23/detailed https://www.realtimetrains.co.uk/service/gb-nr:U63811/2022-04-23/detailed
