Bizarre - I did not know that a "Timsbury Bottom" really existed..the same thing happened with Penmaenbach - I wanted something to reflect the area around Penmaenmawr and then blow me a real world Penmaenbach turns up...Thanks - cracking photo and info.   10. I assume these locos counts as "preserved". This was a Steam Dreams trip to Bath turning the whole ECS train on the triangle junction at Bristol before servicing at Bristol East......

  12. This seems to be the accepted wisdom.... DCC ready means that the loco is designed to be fitted with a DCC chip. At the factory a small piece of circuitry is added to the loco with a socket that enables you to insert a DCC decoder to convert the engine from analogue to DCC.
  13. I'm hyper-cautious so I'd test a small section before slapping paint on everywhere... Also - I'd use an old toothbrush to get at the "growth" and.. Masking the green and red where you can will make life a lot easier in the long run.. Chris H
