    Andy - that looks great - obviously you've made major progress since the summer. I think the simple presentation of fascia and (accidental) neutral back scene is spot on and enhances but does not distract from the original masterpiece. Chris H

    Very sorry to have missed this great show - a combination of a very late return home at 0130 on Sunday from a badly delayed railtour and misplaced bank cards - now found - but obviously only after I'd reported them lost after a forensic but fruitless search at home...meant a 7am drive down was impractical - a great shame as there were many layouts and friends I wanted to see. If all goes well I'm part of an operating team for a layout next year so fingers crossed.. Chris

    That makes sense - thank you and also to 6990 WS - there were lots of very frustrated folk at Carlisle trying to get to Newcastle etc. for whom there was no rail replacement bus as Northern had issued a "do not travel" notice

    Quick photos at Carlisle on Saturday. I believe the headcode was 6Z78 but I can't find it on any of the websites such as RTT or Railcam

    High end budget-wise...and I've never tried anything complicated....

    I've gone up to 60 thou for big structures - and Limolene is a good adhesive for big areas

    I like SE Finecast as they do brick arches etc...

    Its a matter for the individual modeller - I am a weatherer and my paint volumes are very low so I hope risk is also low... Chris H

    Maybe I should possibly have added more detail..this was 6M67 with 88 007 Electra and 60 019 Brutus seen at Bedminster near Bristol TM today with 4 FNA-Ds (which is certainly a personal record for me)
