  7. Hi Mike looks good you have captured the s&c well. The layout looks stunning just showed a mom (mobile opps manger ) who works up to dent and he was saying it looks amazing keep them pics comming. How do the locos cope with the spiral fiddle yard any loss of traction. Mark
  8. Hi Jeff hope all is ok the garden looks good are you going to put pics up of the garden at the new house hope you do I enjoy gardening when i can get the chance to. The bunker looks good can't wait to see pics of kL. Andy its good to see you are getting better hope you do take it easy its not nice when people get ill and the recovery time is important.

  14. Well I have just managed to make all 7 signals work tonight I'm glad I only have to do one with all them signals. it needs to be cleaned up but here is the signal. It's going just after the cutting to protect the station and points
  15. Well I have sorted the fault with the pics of the platforms I should have a bit more done on the signal to ( on nights again ) But here are the new platforms Mark
  16. Hi Jason must say that I agree with Andy about the b&w pics it captures bacup to a T. The a class loco looks ruddy good to keep up the good work Mark
  17. Yesterday I spent most of the day rebuilding the platforms as they werent good (big gaps) I will be putting pics up later. The method used were wills flaged sheets and some 60tho plasticard as the flags. I need to weather it yet but its getting there. I will be continuing the signal tomorrow. mark
  18. Hi just an update on progess with bucks lane I have started to build the signals from brass using Alan Gibson parts. The main signal will have 7 signals 3 standard pegs and 4 subs I will try and make them all work but I have done some pics for people to look and any advise would be good

  20. I got a bit done today on bucks lane I have checked the track to see if it's all live and tried a few trains over it all looks ok need to paint the buffer stops and smooth out some bits but I have got the layout running Here are some pics from today before I had to go to work
  21. I always use to use peco code 100 until I saw how nice the snp & c&l track looked on bacup greenfield and yours. then I started to use it now I wont go back to code 100 never. Then I saw how much fun it could be with a goods yard to do shunt movements. It don't have to be big just fun thats why now my layout is small mark
  22. Andy I agree on you about that I was going to do a big layout with a shed then i saw what you and Jason have done and you can have fun with a small layout . mark
  23. I use a spray gun they are ok. I cant spray with a can its to big I cant get control of it but with a gun I can Also I wash the loco in hot soapy water to remove all the flux that can cause a lot of problems as I have found out in the past mark
  24. Hi Jason I have done a round top 2-4-2 one and I like them but I found i have to read the instuctions a few times to get my head around it. Did you paint the class 27 mark
