  1. Thanks for the reply but I an still non the wisser. Is D6704 one of the propsed Accurascale models? What is the data panel? GSYP?
  2. What would the model of 37 have been in the Middlesbrough area in the early seventies?
  3. I must of missed that. I am always up for a bit of operating and could probably rope in another.
  4. As I stated above the one I built has ex 07 kit on the box and I bought it before George took them over. I diid get the etched boiler from George. The original is a very chunky turned brass one.
  5. I can't remember now what the arrangement was between the inner sides and it is now full of coal. I made coal front plate out of plasticard. The instructions consisted of a drawing, annotated copies of the etches and 1 page of basic notes.
  6. Hi Mick I have built the 07 version in P4 (That was the kit that became George Norton's, Oicture attached. I seem to recall the tender was straight forward.
  7. The Hornby one looks to be leaning to the right. The gap would be smaller if it was upright.

  9. Hi Mick Ner record page 62 shows a diagram 18 vehicle with 1 smoking compartment next to the brake compartment.
  10. I am currently test building a round tank version if the C12 in brass.
  11. Hawes was an end on junction between the NER and Midland although both companies had running powers beyond Hawes this was only exercised by the NER for passenger workings through to Garsdale. Both had a daily goods train to Hawes and both shunted the yard with goods going in both directions. Presumably empy wagons could also be exchanged here.
  12. When Len Newman was producing C&L track the sleeper panels were moulded and then placed in a jig. The 2 rails were then gripped and pulled through. Amazing to see.
  13. Yes for prototype fideleiity and having operated London Road I can say that Jol's work well.
  14. I would prefer radial trucks for and aft.
  15. I recently got a pair of Ratio Midland coaches in lined LMS levery for £43.50 including postage. They came fitted with brassmaster compensated bogies. 20 minutes later they are running on P4 wheels.

  17. "(you don't need to be a gold member to purchase things)" Are you sure about that? I tried to buy something and got a messeage saying I didn't heve the correct permissions.
