Hi Dave
It is P4 and moved on a bit since that photo. I will see about adding some mor information on my workbench thread so as not to clutter this one up.

Hi Mark
I didn't respond earlier as I paint my own teak and then use either humbrol or precision gloss varnish. To my mind the teak on those coaches is let down by the lining which is too orange and large.
Hi Jeff
no i live in Chelmsford. We are building a model of Hawes hence the picture, we commissined Bill Bedford to do the windows for the shed and station building.
I have portescaps in a J72, N8, D17, C13 and J21. Most are modified using the MJT gearbox sides. I do have further stocks which will probably see out my loco building. Others have Branchlines. Highlevel and 52F gearboces.
Your second lkink doesn't work but I am assuming it is the combined W iron and axle bbox. You will need to file off the w iron but these will work

From North Eastern days milk was taken from Hawes to Northallerton picking up vans on route. During the 1930's a special train was run and instructed to wait for deliveries. In 1908 the NE built a special van for the Wensletdale pure milk society. From Northallerton milk was then taken to Finsbury park. I am not aware of any milk traffic going to Garsdale from Hawes. Their was only one Midland passenger train from Hawes to Garsdale (the Boniface) .
Lens conribution to finescale modelling is enormous and especially to P4 trackwork with his P4 pointy kits which made making pointwork accessible to a greater number of people. He will be missed by those of us who counted him a friend.
RIP Len
Yes these are the original Scalefour design and were in Danny's original kits. I have a couple of coaches made with these. I screwed the bogies to the floor after fixing the floor to the body.
The problem with solid state drives is that they have a limited number of read/writes before they degrade which is why it is recommended that they are not used for virtual memory.
