If Physics is available - and you're happy with it - it's probably the one to go for, but it sounds like you're thinking in those terms already.

It's likely to be tough - but it's also likely to be worth it.

      All the best.

To be honest with myself. I suppose I'm leaning towards physics. I blame open university on BBC 2. I used to love watching them when 4 5-6. It even made me put down my lego. Though history on the industrial revolution and early railways, with the promise of the NRM Leicester plains is very tempting

History is a great subject at university, and a degree in it can lead to many interesting places, do the subject you love.

    3. farren

      farren

Cheers for that Horsetan. Had a look on your site its not going to be a straight exchange. Maybe a built to order motor bogie might be a simpler way to go.

At first I didn't think you were being serious with the compare site. Thanks to both of you for your suggestions

No idea haven't taken them out yet. The model was bought with valve and connecting rods taken of by a prat which a left a screw broken inside the wheel. So was after a new set of wheels and was offered a set of Gibson's. Or should I keep looking for a set of Bachmann ones?

    3. Horsetan

      Horsetan

Have a go at fitting the Gibson set, if you can verify the axle diameter supplied.

    4. farren
