That's nearly enough people for a RMweb members day. -
Quite a range of colours for us gardeners on here http://www.flower-soft.co.uk/Cart/EC-Results.php?SECCategoryID=93

Right I've had a closer look at what I'm using so feel free to tell me what I need to chuck out of this train.Hopefully I can keep some. The Mobil versions are black with a white star. The OMO version has a white star too. The Esso and Fina versions are both in sliver with black star although I do have another Fina in black with a white star. My favourite is the Pratts Spirit which is a buff colour with a black star.

Did you see Benny and Miss Diane by any chance..... -
Afternoon all and thanks Mike for wrapping my knuckles.I've opened a can of worms .At least you've now guided me in the right direction and I'll make the amendments and retake the photos.Incidently,I found a nice photo in colour of a 72xx on an oil train in the 60s,no barrier wagon, pulling Shell Mex wagons.A filthy black colour. At least I've learnt something. I should have stuck with James number 5 !

What were the odds on number 35 Big Yellow and did it win.Looks like a race card but seriously quality stock I must say. -

OT I know but we've have a job because we played yesterday. I have to admit I thought that painting was a 14xx but on further inspection its actually some Southern tank thingy. http://www.military-art.com/mall/more.php?ProdID=16314 Very nice though.

A fabulous thread Colin and I paricularly like this scenario as I find Don Breckon paintings to be usually very modellable in some way. With your mix of regions and liveries you can really do anything here.

Excellent.I really like this product but I found it didn't take paint very easily using enamel. You seem to have no such problems using Modelmates though.

Morning all.I was thinking of doing an oil train but can't decide which loco to use as I don't think the period is correct for what I have. I don't possess all your stock so can't justify one. Incidently, talking of stock,a great photo of 72xx class 7202 has been sent to me and will help with the renumber to 7200. http://www.flickr.com/photos/64518788@N05/7361671038/in/set-72157629736491456

A very nice photo of 7202 in Swindon works has been brought to my attention. The detail that's caught my eye is the correct placing of the rear bufferbeam numbers however it looks like they moved the vacuum pipe to the left of the coupling to accommadate them.I will do this on my model. http://www.flickr.com/photos/64518788@N05/7361671038/in/set-72157629736491456

Thanks John.I've never seen a photo shewing a clean milk tank.In fact the ones on the Hemyock branch were very dirty.A matter of taste I suppose although I don't like locos overdone. Thinking back to my childhood before the days of Thomas etc I didn't have any interest in railways. In fact it wasn't till my 30's that I discovered Gods Wonderful and that came from my late father.I had a Scalextric before getting a train set.
