    Damnation!, Heat has caused the track at Greslington to expand. All services are closed until the hand of god can rectify the raised track! (not too bad, just a short slope occurred down one end)

      the class 91 left on monday oliver cromwell was supposed to turn up but the locomotive sprung a firebox leak so has pulled out of railfest flying scotsman has now been moved and is standing opposite to mallard

      Fortunately I'm going meet a mate, so I'll stay at his place for a few days then get a lift home. Which really helps. It certainly pays to book early.
