  1. True, Peterborough North went through major redevelopment around the same time the city centre was redeveloped also. The yards further along the lines are about half the size they once were. The first two platforms had a roof. Further photo's of Peterborough are here http://www.peterboroughimages.co.uk/blog/?cat=11
  2. Same pack as what I got, I was a little disappointed to find the brass nameplates were not included, so I ordered the brass nameplates from fox transfers.
  3. Cheered up now, I've formulated my N gauge plan. Its all in my head, I'll be sure to write some stuff down.

  4. Fantastic! Seems N gauge has a rough radius of 19'', pasting tables come at around 22''. Seems I have my portable solution!

Maybe better to have a diameter of 19" instead of a radius. Trains might fall off otherwise!!!

The tables I've seen are 56x176, the width is about right, I may have to shorten the length of the table a little to about 150cm.

  5. Another week of lottery tickets bought, one day eh? Is a few million to buy a new house and set up my miniature railway too much to ask?

I think my first set was the Triang/Hornby freightmaster with Class 31 D5572. I inherited it from my dad, my own first was a tender driver FS set from 1993. I loved that artwork.
