    Had some 'Titanic' Ale last night. Not normally an ale drinker, but it was nice. Drank some 'Flying Scotsman' a few weeks ago too, that was also quite nice.

      It's not a one shot deal, you can do it again, just put a thin light coloured wash of acrylic paint over the wash, leave to dry then try again. You can lighten a too dark wash with dry brushing a light color over the top.

      I repainted a darker colour over and it looks better. Though I may try watering it down, get it to seep in a little more.

    Tomorrows tasks, re-lay section of track, complete a lot more ballasting and start drawing up plans for the station.

      Just remember rich or poor your friends and family will always be there; Don't worry about shelling out on presents and things people will understand. After all I find the best bit about christmas is sitting down with the family and having a couple of sherrys and a good laugh playing board games.

    Another rejection! getting sick of spending my time on job applications, only to be immediately disregarded. Drives me nuts!

      At least you're getting rejection letters / emails. Of the 50 or so applications I have sent off since September I have had about 6 letters or emails or rejection. I have also had 3 interviews (one is still to come and the one I had yesterday ended with some of the most destructive, unhelpful and unprofessional feedback I have ever received) all the others have not even bothered sending a letter or email saying sorry not this time.

      I was fortunate to get a response to this one, this doesn't include the boatload of applications of the past months that I've heard hide nor hair from.

      Try not to get disheartened. It took me a long while after Uni before I got my job. I even got turned down for a Christmas temp job at Clintons last year...
