  1. Great work there, Castle. I'd go with crimson and cream for the BG too.
  2. Would you admit to buying that?
  3. I would have thought that once they're glued with PVA to the layout they'd be fine. The problem would be storing them until you need to use them.
  4. I'm sure I read somewhere that the exactly shade of Midland freight grey was always a bit vague. There being marked variances between repaints.
  5. The transfers are from Powsides http://www.powsides.co.uk/ They are the rub/press on type of transfer. They go on easy enough, but are a little tricky to get them to go on straight. The best way I found to apply them was to secure the sheet to the model with masking tape and then rub them on.
  6. Simple but effective, the class B Shell black livery. I did a Brassworks offering in this livery last year.
  7. The tea chests look very smart. Your attention to detail is fantastic.
  8. Very nice work. The tanker looks a treat. I think you're right about the ladders. So still a bit more work for you to do. What colour/livery will you be painting it?
  9. Well he talks in confusion/ And he faults your point of view/ You talk about his apparition/ And he talks/ Hear him laughing at you,

Can I have some of what your having

  10. While this is definitely not my area of expertise, that is a nice selection of wagons for a PW train. Ha! Excellent. Very, very true. I may have to print these out and put them up by my workbench.
  11. Cheers for that, Andy. Something else to put on the list. Point rodding is definitely something to look in to. I added it near the end of building my OO layout and even in 4mm it made a big difference to the look of "completeness".
  12. Great work there, Andy. All the little details really bring Trebudoc to life. Who are the platform lamps from? I think the coal man deserves a cuppa!
  13. Very nice wagons you have there. The ballast load and subtle weathering are particularly effective. Is there enough suitable stock in the Didcot collection for you to assemble a full PW train on Little Didcot? Instructions? What are those?
  14. Click away, John. There's no like notifications on RMWeb, likes are added straight away.
  15. It's looking good. Very tidy work indeed. It does look very small to me. I'm glad I moved up to 7mm!
  16. Those railings really do look the business. The quality of your modelling is top draw, Chaz. Keep up the great work!
  17. I think we all have days when our models and modelling ability don't quite come together as we'd like. I does feel good to overcome something that has been particularly tricky. I didn't think anyone would want to see me build another one. Might be amusing to see if I make the same mistakes!
  18. Hey now. Hey now, now!

  19. Another great video, Andy. The SWD chip in the pannier sounds excellent. I'm going to have to order a couple of those in the future.
  20. That's still pretty good going IMHO. I completely agree about modelling being great for relaxing. I have next week off work and I'm wondering if I can build my second 58XX in a week.
  21. Crikey! That is a long list of projects that you've completed over the last year. Along with all the time you spend at 81E, I don't know how you fit everything in. Keep up the excellent work!
  22. Great video Andy. I'll look forward to the next installment. And you has us thinking that you'd been doing even more modelling!
  23. It's not that viaduct that you and Jeff have been joking about it it?
