The transfers are from Powsides http://www.powsides.co.uk/
They are the rub/press on type of transfer. They go on easy enough, but are a little tricky to get them to go on straight. The best way I found to apply them was to secure the sheet to the model with masking tape and then rub them on.
Very nice work. The tanker looks a treat.
I think you're right about the ladders. So still a bit more work for you to do.
What colour/livery will you be painting it?
While this is definitely not my area of expertise, that is a nice selection of wagons for a PW train.
Ha! Excellent. Very, very true. I may have to print these out and put them up by my workbench.
Cheers for that, Andy. Something else to put on the list.
Point rodding is definitely something to look in to. I added it near the end of building my OO layout and even in 4mm it made a big difference to the look of "completeness".
Very nice wagons you have there. The ballast load and subtle weathering are particularly effective.
Is there enough suitable stock in the Didcot collection for you to assemble a full PW train on Little Didcot?
Instructions? What are those?
I think we all have days when our models and modelling ability don't quite come together as we'd like. I does feel good to overcome something that has been particularly tricky.
I didn't think anyone would want to see me build another one. Might be amusing to see if I make the same mistakes!
That's still pretty good going IMHO.
I completely agree about modelling being great for relaxing. I have next week off work and I'm wondering if I can build my second 58XX in a week.
Crikey! That is a long list of projects that you've completed over the last year. Along with all the time you spend at 81E, I don't know how you fit everything in.
Keep up the excellent work!
