  1. Hi Can you point me in the direction of the mail order section on the SRG website, I can't seem to find it? Or do you need to be a member to see and order? Cheers
  2. ah, the new Hornby "I saw you coming" range.
  3. Would a small town gasworks require a 'grimy Peckett' or similar to shunt some wagons too?

  5. It's the cost of turnout kits that put some people off, they're £57:00 a pop at the moment, which I appreciate include pre-made common crossings at a cost for pre-assembly. If you're not at all confident that's a lot of wedge to throw away, so is off putting. It's a difficult one, a kit of raw materials might be the way forward at a lower RRP but again you'd need to know how to file v's and point blades, and if you're anything like me will need the jigs [from EMGS in my case].
  6. https://www.abebooks.co.uk/servlet/SearchResults?isbn=9781874103004&n=100121503&cm_sp=mbc-_-ISBN-_-used At those prices above, it might be worth finding out if there's any chance of a re-print from Wild Swan? https://www.titfield.co.uk/WildSwan.htm
  7. or here for just over £20: https://www.abebooks.co.uk/servlet/SearchResults?isbn=9781874103004&n=100121503&cm_sp=mbc-_-ISBN-_-used I need a new (another) copy too, as mine's sh@gged!
  8. Managed to let it slip through my fingers yet again this year.... I blame my apathy i did manage to spot this on Saturday though.
  9. everybody knows it's 0298 Beattie... just in it's oxide
  10. I am honoured with a visiting pair of Bullfinches, of course every time I attempt a photo they fly off once my back is turned. Although, I did come to the conclusion the other day that they use an advanced form of teleportation, as they don't fly in to or out of view they simply appear and disappear.
